If you're a university research program, an agricultural research company, a seed company or a nursery printing seed packets, stakes, or tags in-house, the TNR VP-S is built specifically for you. Inspired by the Accufast P4 and refined for small agricultural media, it delivers clean, consistent print quality for both branding and variable data — barcodes, QR codes, dates, lot codes, and variety names included.
Backed by 50+ years of servicing equipment in the field, we designed this system to be both user friendly for operators and service friendly for maintenance. Many of the design details come directly from real-world experience and long-term feedback from customers in agriculture and packaging.
From day one, it was important to us not to lock customers into chipped or "managed care" ink. Restricting you to proprietary cartridges is a disservice — especially when you're managing tight margins and high volumes.
Standard 2" total print height in two independently adjustable 1" print banks — perfect for different packet sizes, stake heights, and layouts.
The VP-S uses Xijet ink technology and accepts any HP45-style ink cartridge, so you can run:
Most of the time, it's the same ink used in chipped systems, just in a far more economical cartridge — a significant reduction in ongoing ink costs while dramatically expanding your ink choices. If your workflow truly requires it, a chipped-ink option can be supported, but it's never mandatory.
Each piece can carry text, barcodes, QR codes, dates, lot codes and variety names from your own list.
Many of the VP-S printers working in agriculture today are at universities and agricultural research companies, labeling packets, stakes and bags for field trials. The same machine suits seed packagers and nurseries: one multimedia printer for every kind of agricultural labeling.
